Liontrust chair Adrian Collins to retire

During his nine-year tenure the firm has staged an impressive recovery from its 2009 annus horribilis

Liontrust Asset Management, an £11.5bn listed fund manager in the UK, is to part ways with its longstanding chair, Adrian Collins, the company announced on November 21.

Collins, a 40-year fund management veteran and a former managing director of Gartmore, will retire from the firm after its 2019 general meeting. In a statement, Collins said that “by announcing my retirement now, we can ensure a smooth succession”.
