Walker deal boosts Liontrust's retail coffers

The UK asset manager has increased its assets under management by 60% over in just six months, largely thanks to the acquisition of a retail fund manager

Liontrust Asset Management has increased assets under management by 60% over just six months, thanks in large part to deal to acquire a retail funds manager in April.

The UK group's assets have increased from £1.5bn to £2.4bn in the six months since March 31, the firm said in a trading update for its first-half today. Liontrust's financial year runs from April 1 to March 31.
