Lloyds picks up MF Global Europe chief

Lloyds Bank has appointed Richard Moore to run its trading operations for its wholesale, banking and markets division

Lloyds Bank has appointed Richard Moore, formerly chief executive of MF Global Europe, to run the bank's trading operations for its wholesale, banking and markets division, completing the bank's restructuring of its trading business.

Moore, who starts work on March 1, will report to Andrew Géczy, chief executive of wholesale banking and markets. His appointment is subject to FSA approval, Lloyds said in a statement.
