Departure comes just weeks after the CEO's exit, raising questions over the new investment authority's strategy at a crucial time

The London Collective Investment Vehicle, the authority set up to manage £20bn of the capital's public pension funds, has lost its chief investment officer just a few weeks after its chief executive stepped down.

Julian Pendock, who joined the CIV in August 2015, left the organisation on January 4, a spokesman for London Councils confirmed.
