London risks ‘slow and painful’ decline as capital of HQs

With Brexit looming large, think tank warns London is ‘not invincible’

London faces a drawn-out loss of its status as a top city for corporate headquarters unless new efforts are made to maintain its attractiveness, according to a think tank focused on the capital.

Brexit, dated transport infrastructure and worries about a shrinking talent pool are all risks to the capital’s ability to entice multinational companies, the authors of a new report from Centre for London said.
