Billionaire investor has been battling a difficult trading environment

Billionaire hedge fund manager Louis Bacon is closing the doors of his company Moore Capital Management to outside money, after battling a difficult trading environment for the one-time kings of global macro investing.

Bacon is consolidating the company’s main funds into one proprietary vehicle, returning money to investors and stepping back from day-to-day management, according to a letter sent to investors and reviewed by Financial News.
