Lovells, the UK-based law firm, has made two partner-level lateral hires to strengthen its mergers and acquisitions and banking coverage.

Marco Rota Candiani is a M&A specialist who has joined the Milan office of Lovells from Grimaldi Clifford Chance. His appointment marks the first time the firm has hired a partner from another firm in its Italian practice, which was launched in October last year.
