LVMH returns €30m damages to Morgan Stanley

LVMH has reimbursed Morgan Stanley €30m ($38m) after a Paris appeal court rejected an earlier ruling that the US bank had published a series of negative research reports on the French luxury goods group.

The initial Paris commercial court ruling in January 2004 stipulated that Morgan Stanley should pay LVMH €30m in "moral damages".
