Lycos shareholders agreed to the merger with Terra Networks on Friday, with an overwhelming 99.4% of the votes cast in favour of the deal.

A special meeting was held for Lycos shareholders, and the vote clears the way for finalising the merger, which will create Terra Lycos. The deal could be finalised as early as the end of Friday October 27.
