MacKay Shields’s tech chief to spread word on cyber security

MacKay Shields’s technology chief has begun teaching a cyber-security course at New York’s Fordham University, highlighting the traction the discipline is gaining among financial professionals.

Anthony Vigilante, managing director and global head of IT at the fixed-income investment manager, which has $91 billion in assets under management, begun teaching the MSc in cyber security to working professionals this semester. He will retain his current role at the firm, a subsidiary of the New York Life company.
