Macquarie boosts wealth team in Canada

Macquarie Private Wealth has made a series of hires in Canada from HSBC and Fiera Sceptre, according to The Wall Street Journal. A group of advisers headed by Jason Leemans, which oversaw around C$220m at HSBC, have moved to Macquarie's Vancouver office. Walter McCormick and Garreth Fallis, who managed more than C$355m in assets at Fiera Sceptre, joined Macquarie in Toronto.
