Macquarie names new leaders for booming infra-debt business

Macquarie, the Australian bank that has carved out a specialism as a lender and investor in infrastructure projects worldwide, has named the new co-heads for its London-based infra-debt management division.

The unit’s current chiefs, Andrew Robertson and James Wilson, founded the business in 2012 and have overseen its growth to £5bn under management amid a European boom in private lending to infrastructure projects.
