Man Group, the investment company, has recruited a US equity hedge fund manager and his team from the boutique RWC Partners. It will launch its first US long-short strategy in due course.

Mike Corcell, a former portfolio manager at Steven Cohen’s high-profile hedge fund SAC Capital, has been at Westminster-based RWC since 2009. He specialises in the long-short management of US equities.
