Man Group sweeps past $100bn asset milestone

Listed fund manager's revenues were boosted by improved performance fees

The UK-listed hedge fund manager Man Group saw total client assets pass the $100bn mark last year, following a record 12 months of inflows.

The firm said today that it managed $109.1bn at the end of 2017, up 35% over the year. The chief contributors to the rise were net inflows of $12.8bn and more than $10bn in investment returns.
