Marex Spectron, the commodities broker, has appointed former Societe Generale banker Jack Allen as a senior precious metals sales trader in London. He has 30 years of experience in the precious metals industry and had set up and managed the precious metals sales desk at SocGen. Prior to that, he had spent time running the gold dealing books at Deutsche Bank, AIG and Natixis.
