Market volatility boosts Euronext's 2002 revenues

Euronext, the pan-European stock exchange, reported a 6.4% increase in revenues to €996.6m ($1.1bn) in 2002 as continuing market volatility boosted cash and derivative trading levels.

Costs fell by 8.1% over the same period to €758.8m due in part to the creation of a single cash clearing platform for Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris.
