Sale should 'not be interpreted as conveying a view on the group’s performance', group says

Gilbert sells £5m worth of Aberdeen stock

Aberdeen chief executive Martin Gilbert has warned next year is going to be “difficult”. But in the meantime, he has sold around £5.3 million worth of shares in the fund manager.

Gilbert's also received £2.87 million in shares as part of his 2015 pay awards, according to a regulatory filing Thursday.
