McAlpine pension fund opts for Attica

The £240m (€386.6m) Alfred McAlpine pension fund has picked Attica to handle a £15m multi-asset mandate covering Japan and the Far East.

The appointment represents a coup for Attica, which is run by Guy Davies and Derrick Dunne and has been seeking institutional multi-manager mandates since December. Attica has won £36m to date and is marketing for institutional funds worth a further £370m in the near future.
