Andersen Consulting, soon to be renamed Accenture, has appointed Pat Anslinger as global head of mergers and acquisitions.

Anslinger joins from McKinsey & Co, where she was a founder and lead partner in the North American corporate finance strategy practice. While at McKinsey, she worked with company chief executives and senior management on all aspects of M&A, corporate finance, corporate strategy, portfolio restructuring and operational improvement.
