Mediobanca, an Italian investment bank, is launching a London operation following the recruitment of the former co-head of JP Morgan's equity capital and derivative markets division.
The bank has hired Paolo Cuniberti, who left JP Morgan at the end of September. Cuniberti will recruit a team specializing in derivatives and will aim to open the office in March next year.
