Stress, depression and other mental health issues are the primary drivers of long-term sickness at the Financial Conduct Authority, raising concerns about working culture at the UK watchdog.

Data obtained by Financial News via a freedom of information request shows more than 100 FCA employees took long-term sick leave between 2015 and 2018. More than 10% of those cases were due to problems with mental health.
