Merrill rebuilds broking team as Dwyer quits for Goldman

Merrill Lynch has begun rebuilding its UK corporate broking operation. A source close to Merrill said it has hired Oliver Greaves from UBS, two other directors, as yet unnamed, and will make two further internal appointments.

The moves come as John Dwyer, a director in Merrill's broking operation, has quit for Goldman Sachs to work alongside Joshua Critchley, whom Goldman poached from Merrill last week.
