M&G sets up private debt team in Asia

Freshly demerged from its insurance parent, UK-focused M&G is putting more boots on the ground internationally

M&G Investments, the UK-listed fund manager, has set up a new team in Singapore charged with finding credit and alternatives deals in Asia.

Matthew O’Sullivan, formerly co-head of M&G’s asset-backed securities research in London, has been named head of the team, having moved to Singapore in August. Gareth Anderson, a former analyst at Prudential Capital, will join the desk, the company said in a statement on December 3.
