Miller Buckfire Lewis expands with senior hire

Miller Buckfire Lewis, the US-based restructuring firm which was spun off from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) last year, has added a fourth partner to help the group build market share.

David Ying joins the firm, which will be renamed Miller Buckfire Lewis Ying, from JLL Partners, a private equity firm that invests in distressed companies, where he was a senior managing partner. He has extensive experience working on out-of-court restructurings, where Miller Buckfire Lewis wants to increase its presence, and he will be involved in providing financial advisory and investment banking services in large-scale corporate restructurings.
