Misra's derivatives exchange unveils first board

A former chief executive of the Multi Commodity Exchange of India and an ex-CME managing director are among Gmex's inaugural board of directors

The derivatives exchange group being created by Hirander Misra, a former founder of Chi-X Europe, has finalised its first board, prior to a launch during the first half of next year.

Misra's venture, called the Global Markets Exchange Group, or Gmex, has appointed Lamon Rutten as a non-executive chairman, it said in a statement today.
