MLIM hires director for sterling fixed income team

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) has recruited Stuart Niman from Kyte Fund Management as a director in its sterling fixed income team.

Niman will focus on short maturity UK government bond, or gilt, portfolios within the 12-strong sterling fixed income team, which managed more than £14bn (€22.2bn) in assets as of the end of September. In his new role, Niman will report to Chris Fellingham, managing director of fixed income at MLIM.
