Moody's rates 3bn Mexican peso (€213m) enhanced loan of the State of Zacatecas at A2.mx and Ba2 (Photo credit: FXaver)

Known for rich deposits of silver and other minerals, colonial architecture and its importance during the Mexican revolution, the State of Zacatecas was awarded an A2.mx and Ba2 rating on November 17 for an enhanced loan. Moody’s cited the attainable coupon rate despite stress conditions and the creditworthiness of the state.
