Morgan Stanley donates $2.5m to hunger relief organisations

The US investment bank's campaign saw 10,500 employees walk 240 million steps to raise awareness of global hunger

US investment bank Morgan Stanley has donated $2.5m to hunger-relief organisations around the world as more and more people face economic hardship because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Morgan Stanley’s 22 October announcement also comes as activists lobby the UK government to provide free school meals to children from disadvantaged backgrounds throughout their holidays.
