Morgan Stanley lines up for BBC's media bond

Morgan Stanley is in a strong position to capture a role on the bond issue planned by the BBC, the UK-based news and broadcasting corporation, which could raise up to £500m (€725m).

The BBC confirmed today that it was exploring a bond issue to help pay for a new media centre in Manchester in the north of England. The centre, likely to be complete by 2012, will house its sports, childrens and new media divisions.
