Analysts at Morgan Stanley believe that efforts taken by UK banks to crisis-proof their businesses leave them "well insulated" against the effects of the country’s split from Europe.

In a June 29 report entitled Seismic but not systemic - what next for European banks, a team of researchers led by Huw Van Steenis reviewed their forecasts for the banking sector in the wake of the June 23 vote.
