Morgan Stanley sued over 'snowball notes'

Morgan Stanley is being sued in a class action lawsuit in the US for allegedly underwriting "false and misleading" offerings of structured debt products.

The complaint concerns the sale of snowball notes where, instead of paying fixed or floating interest, investors receive payments based on changes in the London interbank offered rate.
