Multex appoints former Reuters chief to board

Multex.com, the New York-based global provider of investment information and technology solutions for the financial services industry, has appointed Sir Peter Job, the former chief executive of Reuters, to its board of directors.

Job, who was chief executive of Reuters from 1991 until his retirement in July 2001, was elected to the board by shareholders at Multex's annual meeting. He joins as a non-executive director for a three-year term.
