NAPF seeks global research partner

The National Association of Pension Funds is exploring the possibility of partnering its proxy voting and corporate governance services unit, Voting Issues Service (VIS), with a global research provider.

John Rogers, who left the Bank of England in 1992 to establish VIS, says that since 1999 the unit has come under increasing outside competition from international providers, including Institutional Shareholder Services.
