National Grid to sell captive manager

The £17.3 billion National Grid pension scheme has decided to sell its captive asset management arm Aerion Fund Management.

Aerion manages the assets through a balanced approach 64% allocated to bonds, 18% to equities, 7% to property, 7% to alternatives and 3% to private equity.
