Network Rail raises fifth bond and almost £6bn in a week

Network Rail, the owner of the UK's rail infrastructure, has raised the sterling equivalent of almost £6bn ($7.4bn) from bonds in just five days - more than half the capital it needs for the next five years.

Bankers were due to price the fifth bond on Friday.
