Newton recruits Hermes’ Parry to lead sustainable investments

Former equities chief departed Hermes in June after 10 years at the firm

Andrew Parry, who quit as head of sustainable investments at Hermes Investment Management in June, has re-emerged at competitor Newton Investment Management.

Newton said it had recruited Parry to lead its sustainable investments team – something emerging as a competitive priority for fund managers, who foresee growing demand from investors for such services.
