Nicholas Applegate loses manager trio

Nicholas Applegate Capital Management, a US-headquartered investment subsidiary of insurer Allianz, has suffered three more departures within months of losing teams to UBS and Lazard.

Portfolio managers Travis Prentice and Montie Weisenberger, who oversaw the firm's $93m US micro cap fund, and analyst Joshua Moss are leaving to form a new business.
