Bank of America has hired a Goldman Sachs dealmaker to bolster its coverage of technology companies in Europe.

Nick Hopkins joined the US investment bank as a managing director within its technology, media and telecoms team. He will report to Alexandre Gafsi and Emmanuel Hibou, co-heads of Emea TMT investment banking, according to people familiar with the hire.
