Nomura’s global co-head of investment banking is leaving the bank, signalling yet another strategy shift at the Japanese lender’s international dealmaking unit.

Jeff McDermott, who was named co-head of global investment banking at Nomura in October 2021, is departing, according to people familiar with the matter and a memo seen by Financial News.
