Northern Trust Global Investments, the $572bn (€447bn) Chicago-based asset management firm, has bolstered its capabilities in quantitative investment with two new hires.

Timothy Misik joins as a quantitative equity trader and portfolio manager in New York and Joseph Wolfe as a quantitative active portfolio manager in Chicago.
