Guy Myles, co-founder of UK venture capital firm Octopus Investments, has launched Flying Colours, a financial adviser that says it will use technology to undercut existing fees by 75%.

Flying Colours is charging annual fees as low as 50 basis points a year to maintain, and update, savings plans for clients. It says independent financial advisers can charge 2.1% of assets under management.
