Orange fires Deutsche

The defined contribution pension scheme of mobile phone company Orange has dropped Deutsche Asset Management and hired JPMorgan Fleming Asset Management as sole active manager for £20m of its assets.

In a rare move for a defined-contribution scheme still in its early stages, Orange decided to switch away from Deutsche after deciding that JP Morgan Fleming's performance prospects were better.
