Société Générale has hired a further three M&A bankers, including two from JP Morgan, as it seeks to become a major player in corporate finance advisory as well as capital markets and trading.

Hubert Preschez has been appointed managing director and senior transactor, based in Paris, according to a statement. He was previously an executive director within the French M&A team at JP Morgan.
