Packer sells €2.7bn of media fortune

Regional buyout firm CVC Asia Pacific has sealed Australia's largest private equity deal, acquiring half the media assets of James Packer, the 39-year-old son of deceased Australian business tycoon Kerry Packer.

The A$4.54bn (€2.7bn) buy has taken CVC Asia Pacific's agreed deals total to more than A$10bn in four months.
