Pilgrim Baxter losing $200m a month in net outflows

Firm pays $100m to settle mutual fund scandal

Old Mutual, the South African financial services group, said its US mutual fund arm, Pilgrim Baxter & Associates, is losing about $200m (€165m) a month in net outflows.

On Monday Pilgrim Baxter agreed to pay $100m (€83m) in a settlement with US regulators over market timing charges.
