Pioneer wins €3.6bn in 2004

Pioneer Investments, owned by Unicredito of Italy, saw assets outside Italy rise by 36% to €8.1bn following inflows of €2bn. Strong sales trends were seen in Germany, Spain, France, Latin America and Asia. The firm has plans to make its debut in the UK in the near future.

Total assets under management rose 6% to €129.6bn ($169.6bn) in the year to December boosted by €3.56bn of new business and a recovery in stock markets.
