City streets reopen following police investigation of suspicious vehicle

The City of London Police have reopened roads around the Gherkin in the Square Mile’s insurance district, which they had closed due to a suspicious vehicle in the area.

The police’s Twitter account had announced at 11.55am: “We are currently in attendance in St Mary Axe (EC3) following a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the street.”
