Primary Capital, the London-based private equity firm, has hired Peter Jacobs, formerly head of the corporate finance private equity and telecoms, media and technology teams for South East England at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Jacobs joins as an investment director, originating and managing investments and looking after portfolio companies. He will focus on the UK technology, media and telecoms (TMT) sector because of his background, but will not work exclusively in that sector.
