Dutch firm Gilde Buy Out Partners is pre-marketing its fifth private equity fund, a vehicle that may target as much as €1 billion, according to people familiar with the firm’s plans.

The buyout firm has been warming up investors since June, ahead of a formal launch of the fund in September. One person said that the firm had not yet decided on the fund's target but that it could be up to €1 billion. Gilde Buy Out Partners declined to comment.
