Partners Group closes infrastructure fund at €1bn

Infrastructure funds are gaining traction among investors who see the asset class as an inflation hedge

Swiss investor Partners Group has closed its latest infrastructure fund at €1 billion, doubling what it raised on its last fund as the sector gains traction among investors.

A recent report by industry tracker Preqin found that nearly two thirds (62%) of investors with an infrastructure allocation plan to increase their exposure to the asset class over the longer term.
